As the battle turns desperate to score goals on the football oval this season, there are at least a dozen West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers AFL superstars still looking to score in the love stakes.
From tanked former Freo captain Nathan Fyfe to West Coast action man Sam Petrovski-Seton, these lads have been keeping any romances tightly under wraps and look to be single and ready to mingle.
Here we take a look at WA’s most eligible footy heroes who are still in need of a WAG for a hot date or supportive cuddles when things don’t go well on the field.
1. The Purple Army’s star draftee Luke Jackson’s power keeps rising on the field after his headline signing from Melbourne. The 21-year-old has banged home 16 goals in 14 games already but so far his cheering squad in the stands at Optus Stadium includes only his proud folks and siblings. Originally from Fremantle, all-action Jackson will be looking for action off the field as he gets acquainted with being home.

2. If there’s a man who can rock a mullet, it’s Jordan Clark. The former Geelong player, originally from Mandurah, is hard to catch on the field and even harder to catch in the dating game. The 22-year-old keeps any hint of romance off socials, off the red carpet and out of the stadium.

3. He always manages to find himself space on the footy oval, and perhaps he needs his space in the dating world too as no one has managed to grab Freo superstar Michael Frederick’s attention.

4. Leave it to West Coast’s Sam Petrevski-Seton to get the ladies swooning on Instagram with his topless paddle-boarding shots. The Western Australian from Fitzroy Crossing is feeling right at home again and ready to settle after banging in 20 goals over east during his Carlton career.

5. Perhaps footy’s most eligible bachelor, the former Dockers captain and AFL superstar Nat Fyfe has always put football before footsies. Fyfe has been focused on returning to form from injury rather than the dating game following past speculation of romance with Aussie cricket star Ellyse Perry and seeing Ellie Bradshaw.

6. Jamaine Jones is spreading his wings in the West as an Eagle after reaching the finals as a Geelong star. The 24-year-old small forward certainly looks like he needs someone in his cheering squad as the beleaguered team struggles to score.

7. You know what they say … big hands — big marks. Freo’s crucial towering ruckman Sean Darcy is probably too tall at 6ft 8in for anyone to reach up and steal a kiss. If there is a lady with a footstool in his life, he’s not telling.
